Weddings and Special Events

Popham Chapel is over 120 years old and sits on beautiful Atkins Bay at the mouth of the mighty Kennebec River in the quaint Popham Village of Phippsburg, Maine. The Chapel's simple antiquity and center aisle provide a perfect setting for wonderful, intimate weddings.  Beautiful views overlooking Atkins Bay, historic Fort Popham, and the mouth of the Kennebec River abound.  We have seating for approximately 100 of your family, loved ones and best friends, and ample parking is available for guests behind the Chapel and  Chapel House.
